The San Bernardino Mountains- a perfect place for learning!

Throughout their week, students will get a chance to explore one of the most breathtaking areas the state of California has to offer- the San Bernardino National Forest. The Forest is home to 440 wildlife species and thousands of plant species. Over 30 of these species of animals and plants are listed as threatened or endangered. The camp’s 5000 ft elevation allows for clear views of night skies and makes for incredible stargazing opportunities. Students will also get a chance to see the recent effects of the bark beetle close-up, and learn about natural resource conservation and responsible forest management.
